Meeting Notes

This month's meeting had no official presentation. The topic was: GeekOff, which was intended to be an informal meeting where the discussion was open to anything Linux or FOSS related.

The topic I was planning on bringing was wpa roaming, which I had attempted (unsuccessfully) to configure multiple times.

Introductions were made, and we spoke briefly about how/why we got into Linux. Around 2:20 I made an informal presentation of my newly installed and configured Debian / fluxbox laptop, including some of the useful and lightweight programs that I had found.

Looking through a list of installed packages brought up a discussion of kismet / airsnort and other wireless tools.

At 3:00, the meeting was adjourned, considering the overly nice weather on Saturday afternoon.
