Reorganizing TALUG

- Updating the website
- Recruiting new members (Making flyers and distributing them)
- Scheduling rooms
- Finding speakers and topics
- Taking notes at meetings and updating the website w/ them
- Taking attendance (managing the list of official members)
- Defining direction for the lug outside of the regular activities
- Collecting donations
- Managing the TALUG treasury
- Burn CDs
- Announce meetings
- Traditional roles ( will be decided later ) ( 7 members willing to serve )
- Elections / Democracy
- How to structure elections:
- How often: yearly
- Who may vote: members (as defined below see “official member”)
- Quorum:
- Membership
- official member: someone who attends 3 meetings a year or participates on mailing list or pays annual dues
- who can vote: official members as defined above
- How should TALUG be organized?
- Constitution (loose, short, and simple)
