This Saturday, December 16th, TALUG will meet at 
Stautzenberger College by Southwyck Mall.  There will
be a short presentation and then we will eat snacks 
and drink liquids in celebration of... the impending 
holidays, another year of TALUG, another year of FOSS
advancement and successes... take your pick!

Abdul and I will present on "Giving the gift of FOSS"
(Free and Open Source Software).  This being the
holiday season, we geeks are often called upon to 
bring the gift of computing joy to those around us. 
As fans and advocates of Free and Open Source
Software, we naturally want to help our loved ones 
join us in computing freedom.

So, we will review some great FOSS gifts that you can
bestow upon your friends and family this holiday 
season:

	TTCS OSSWIN CD (FOSS for Windows)
	Linux Mint 2.0
	Ubuntu + Automatix

Then Craig Seeley will present a quick overview of the
TeX/LaTeX markup language and tools.  If people are 
interested, they could then discuss how to expand it 
into a full-length introduction-style presentation for
a future meeting.

We will try to keep it short (~1hr or so) so we have 
time to celebrate another year of FOSS successes and
TALUG togetherness and look forward to a new year.
